Shredded Lodgepole Pine and White Spruce bark mulch is a by-product derived from the primary manufacturing of dimension lumber from the Eastern Slopes of Central Alberta. Shredded Pine and Spruce mulch is the most cost-effective mulch in Alberta and is well suited for any large landscaping project, shelterbelts, u-pick berry operations, mulch beds and is an excellent mulch to retain moisture for large trees.
- 100% Natural. There are no chemicals that are not natural to Lodgepole Pine and White Spruce.
- 100% virgin wood. There are no reclaimed wood fibers or any residues from any other products or chemicals.
- 97% Outer and Inner Bark, 3% small wood chips based on the total volume
- Approximately 42 % moisture by weight with a relative bulk density of 225 kg per m3
- Texture sizing - 97% of volume ranges from 1.5 to 6.0 cm, 3% of volume ranges 0.5 to 1.5 cm
- The pH is 5.5 as tested by ALS Laboratory group in June 2016
